A single Baudin tail feather stands alone, a whisper of those at risk of fading into memory.
This design honours the Baudin’s Black Cockatoo (Zanda baudinii), the most critically endangered of Western Australia’s black cockatoos, teetering on the edge of extinction. It is both a tribute and a warning, that even the most iconic voices of the forest can fall silent.
This piece is more than a shirt, it’s a symbol of reverence, a conversation starter, and a reminder of the fragile balance between presence and extinction.
Drawn directly from my own photographs captured deep in the Southern Jarrah Forest, this artwork is a personal tribute to the birds and landscapes I work to protect. It carries story, memory, and a deep connection to country.
Part of the Keepers of the Canopy series by Clint Conner – The Forest’s Familiar, each purchase supports my urgent, on-ground conservation work with black cockatoos across the Jarrah Forest.
