Keepers of the Canopy - Fierce Mother (Coloured Hood)

In the stillness of the Southern Jarrah Forest, a fierce moment unfolds — a mother Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo launching into flight to defend her nesting hollow against a small group of prospecting Baudin’s Cockatoos. Depicting a real-life encounter deep in the forest, this design preserves that raw, instinctive act of protection that speaks to the urgency of survival.

More than just a silhouette, this jumper tells a true story of the threatened white-tailed cockatoos of the South West, where every hollow is precious, and every nesting attempt a battle against the odds.

Drawn directly from my own photographs captured deep in the Southern Jarrah Forest, this artwork is a personal tribute to the birds and landscapes I work to protect. It carries story, memory, and a deep connection to country.

This regular fit pullover hoodie is crafted from mid-weight 290 GSM anti-pill fleece, blending 80% cotton and 20% polyester for warmth, durability, and everyday wearability. Designed with raglan sleeves, a lined hood with tonal drawcord, kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs and hem for lasting comfort and shape.

Preshrunk to minimise shrinkage, this is a unisex garment in men's sizing, made to suit a wide range of wearers.

Our blank garments are supplied by AS Colour, a brand recognised for its ethical production standards, transparency, and commitment to safe working conditions. Each hoodie is printed locally in Australia using eco-friendly, water-based direct-to-garment (DTG) inks, reducing environmental impact and supporting sustainable production.
